On Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.we invite you to join us and others in our community for A Cause for Celebration 2023Arise Collective’s fall fundraising event.

This year’s event will feature Nick Neptune as our Master of Ceremonies; delicious food by local favorites: Carroll’s KitchenChef T (owner of the Foosic Experience), and Paul & Jack’s Bakery & Cafe; and hand-crafted beverages from Umbrella Dry Bar.  It will also feature the 4th Annual Hope Awards Ceremony, honoring three inspiring organizations, leaders, and influencers in our community.

This year’s event will host the unveiling of Through the Lens of Freedom, a visual storytelling project created by women in Arise Collective’s Women’s Reentry Project (WRP).  Using a mix of digital and film photography, Through the Lens of Freedom uses narrative photography as both an exercise in healing and as a powerful artistic medium for women to explore their own unique visual language and creative imaginings to tell their own stories.

All proceeds will benefit the vital work of Arise Collective to equip women with the tools and support they need to heal, grow, and thrive – both in prison and in the communities to which they return.  Guests will be able to enjoy a raffle and live auction with prizes, including an amazing golf package at the beautiful Lonnie Poole Golf Course located on the North Carolina State University campus in Raleigh.

We are grateful for your interest in being part of this fun and festive occasion!
