Salem earned his Bachelor of Social Work from North Carolina State University (NCSU) and brings a deep commitment to social justice to his work. He is passionate about meeting people exactly where they are, walking alongside them, and helping them move toward their goals. His experience spans case management, peer support, and working with individuals who have been impacted by the justice system.
Grounded in a trauma‑informed approach, Salem advocates fiercely for the people he serves and works to reduce stigma surrounding justice‑involved communities.
Outside of Arise, you can often find him under the hood of a car, at a live show, or spending time with friends and family.
