With more than two decades of experience uplifting parents and strengthening families, her passion has always been to help parents become stronger anchors for their children.
As part of Arise Collective, Gwen brings a deep commitment to shaping programming that centers healing and empowerment for women and communities. Her approach reflects connection, compassion, and respect for each person’s lived experience.
She has led programs that expand access to parent education for justice-impacted individuals and is known for fostering collaborative relationships that bring together communities, service providers, and parents in powerful ways. She is committed to cultivating environments where women feel seen, supported, and empowered to rebuild their lives. Her facilitation is grounded in adult learning principles and a commitment to meeting people exactly where they are.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Science from North Carolina Central University.
