Arise Collective has been doing this work since 1980. For more than four decades, we have walked with women where and when they need it:

Inside the prison, our chaplains have maintained a continuous presence at the North Carolina Correctional Institution for Women for 46 years, offering steady support in a place where consistency matters.

In the community, our housing, family support, employment, and education programs stand ready to meet women as they come home and begin rebuilding their lives.

And in between, our inreach and transition programs bridge the gap, supporting women as they navigate incarceration, serve their time, rebuild their confidence, and prepare for release. We make sure critical supports are available when they take the next steps.
